We are here for you! Since 1995 Ultra sailing provides complete service for sailing boat lovers. Through our program for yacht owners (sailboats and catamarans) you can make your dream come true. Which yacht investment model you decide on (whether you prefer a catamaran or a sailboat) is entirely up to you. What we can do is help you by guiding you through the whole process. We have a lot of experience, we are a well-known Croatian company and representatives for Beneteau sailboats in Croatia and the famous catamaran Fountaine Pajot. In total, we have equipped and delivered over 430 vessels over the past decades. In recent years, we have also specialized in the refitting of older vessels and have our own dry dock service area.

Who takes care of a sailing boat or catamaran?

In both cases, whether you buy a boat just for yourself or give it to charter management, you can equip your boat to your wishes. Your yacht will always be professionally maintained in a way that you do not have to worry about. Through charter management the costs of the boat are covered (berth, maintenance, repairs, engine maintenance). Income from your yacht will help you finance and maintain her. With professional maintenance and care, your yacht will keep on value.

Using of your own boat

If you choose Charter management yacht investment, you sign an annual Agreement specifying ownership weeks during which you can use the boat yourself. The owner has the right to use the boat for 4 weeks, taking into account the current state of the vessel’s reservations. By agreement with the booking office, it is possible to expand the owner’s use, especially if it is off-peak periods. Other dates are left to our charter company for further rental of the boat to third parties.

Who takes care of the boat rental and how?

Ultra sailing is well known in the nautical industry for decades and has been awarded several times by the Croatia nautical charter association as a leading domestic charter company. By investing in the purchase of a boat, your boat enters our charter sales network, promotion on portals and world fairs. Booking office communicates in English, Croatian, German, French, Spanish and Italian. Our office cooperates with a large worldwide network of agents, which guarantees good occupancy. You, as the owner, by signing the Charter Management Agreement, earn 15% commission if you act as an agent of your own or someone else’s yacht.

Our staff takes care of all – they are in charge of receiving guests, cleaning and handing over the boat, repairs and keeping work lists for each ship separately. Through our reservation system each owner has an opportunity to see the reservations at any time. As our future partner, we must say that we have a large database of regular guests. Our sailboats and catamarans are located along the entire Adriatic:ACI marina Pomer in Istria (near Pula), ACI marina Split, Marina Baotic near Trogir, ACI marina Dubrovnik.

Income from renting a boat

After signing the Charter Management Agreement and choosing of owner weeks, we open the boat for charter reservations in our professional booking system. At any time, the owner can see the status of boats´ booking, but also the projection of income according to the current reservation list. At the beginning of each month the owner receives a report on what has been done and invoices us for his ownership share. Charter income should cover leasing rate, annual berth, insurance, maintenance fees, winter storage, spring service, etc. Detailed calculations or projections of yacht investment through charter management can be obtained in advance when buying a new vessel. Our sales department will always be happy to help you and display calculations transparently.

How long is the charter management contract valid for?

Contract is signed for a period of one year, after which it can be terminated or the cooperation can be continued by signing a new contract for following season. From our experience, there is usually a 6 to 7 year period in which the contract is renewed when the owners decide for a new vessel or using the existing one for private purposes and thus exiting the charter management program.

Which sailing yachts are at your disposal as a private buyer or a yacht investor?

As we have been official representatives of a renowned shipyard Beneteau for many years, we are at your disposal for professional and detailed information regarding every new Beneteau as boat model. We stand by your side through purchasing, equipment selection, transport details, yacht furnishing, documentation preparation, and registration process. For those who decide to dive in yacht investments as charter management, this cooperation continues, and with private buyers, we are there for spare parts or yacht maintenance.  Following models can be ready for rental in next season with delivery planned in February or March: Beneteau Oceanis 40.1 & Beneteau Oceanis 46.1

• BENETEAU FIRST LINE: First 14, First 18, First 24, First 27 are small sporty sailboats ideal for day sailing. The latest, luxury model that came out of the First line is First 53 Yacht and is already in our charter management. Due to very unique equipment, higher-priced sail rigging, and sailing performances, this boat can only be rented with our (co)skipper who is greatly familiar with this model.

Which catamarans can you choose from for yacht investments or private use?

Fountaine Pajot is a famous French catamaran builder.  As we know these vessels very well, from their technique to delivery and rentals, we can safely say you will be amazed by the spaciousness and quality. At this moment following catamarans are available for early delivery: Isla 40, Astrea 42 & Saona 47

• Catamaran ISLA 40  This is currently the smallest cat from the Fountaine Pajot family. It can be ordered in an owner version layout with 3 cabins or as the most popular charter layout with 4 cabins.  Choosing the 4 cabins Isla 40 would be an excellent yacht investment under charter management program. This exciting 40-foot catamaran is designed to provide an unforgettable experience at sea. This new model comes after Lucia 40, but with all the features of bigger catamarans: modern design with rounded bow, very comfortable salon without a navigation table but with a spacious sofa around the table.

• Catamaran ASTREA 42 is a superb 4 cabin boat, which also comes in other layouts. Delivery would be in time for next season. One layout is the owner Maestro version where the right hull is completely at the owners disposal by making up a large owner en suite cabin where the Italian style shower space is separated from the toilette. This detail sets this catamaran apart in its class. The other layout is the Quatuor version ideal for charter, with 4 large cabins and 4 separated heads. • Catamaran Saona 47 This luxurious catamaran is ideal for friends and family vacations. It is often rented out with a skipper. It is an excellent choice if you wish to sail the world in an owner’s version.

• Catamaran ELBA 45 – this is a new model catamaran, high in demand. It comes as a replacement for the successful Helia 44, who in turn was a first in the new generation of Fountaine Pajot catamarans. Elba 45 has a spacious fly-bridge, that positions this model  in the world of luxurious models both for private use and charter rentals.

• New catamaran model FP 51 is a model that should replace the very successful Saba 50, which is still a very popular model for charter and you can come and check it out in Split. Our sales department is here should you need details and layouts for this new and evolved 51 footer.

• Samana 59 is the luxury and future of charter catamarans. This is the kind of model that requires its own crew, gets a lot of attention and is a new home for the owner.

• Alegria 67  is the largest flagship catamaran from Fountaine Pajot shipyard

Catamaran Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67 is the largest model and the recent model from the new generation. This is a big and luxurious catamaran that ensures a great level of comfort with its space and design. A true multihull with large surfaces on the flybridge, cockpit, and salon, and enviable design and modern lines.

All models of catamarans can be seen in our charter fleet or at one of the nautical fairs we exhibit. Larger catamarans such as Samana 59 & Alegria 67 belong to the large luxury catamarans and we can always organize a visit to the factory and give all the information related to these spacious and beautiful models.

Fountaine Pajot power catamarans are bought more often for private purposes. We can deliver and help with the tips of the following models: MY 4.S, MY 5, MY 6 & Power 67.
