A full body workout plan on a sailboat doesn’t have to be hard. We are giving you just some ideas what can you do for your body & soul when you are on the boat.

Let’s start…

Sailing

–  is a sport that will work many aspects of physical fitness. Pulling on lines, helping on the boat and helping with a docking it will be great exercise for everybody.  If you’re on a relatively small sailboat, you will constantly be on the move doing things like adjusting the sails and moving from port to starboard.

Yoga is great on a boat (or on the sea)

  • yoga has been scientifically proven to enhance your overall health and wellness, aiding in things like stress management, better sleeping habits, benefits to your mental and emotional health, and improving balance. Stretching does not need to include four walls, incense, and a guru. Your boat can be your “studio.” Open up and say om, as you namaste  sailing through  the Croatia.

Bodyweight Exercises

  • are a simple, effective way to improve balance, flexibility, and strength without gym machines or equipmen. Get creative with your bodyweight workouts, and  find a spot on the boat to have your daily exercises ( stern, bow… ). The advantages of working with just your bodyweight include being able to train anywhere without lugging equipment around, and increased body awareness.

Swimming

  • a person may choose swimming over another form of exercise for a range of reasons. It gives the body a thorough workout and has many advantages for people of all ages and levels of fitness. Because water gently supports the muscles, swimming is preferred by many who are unable to take part in high-impact, high-resistance exercises

Running

  • if you are on the dock, you will be abel to run in the morning  and wake your body up. Changing running surfaces or running routens is not only good for your physically, but it’s good for your mentaly as well. Diving into the sea after the run, will give you refreshed feeling and great start of the day.
