Seminar themes

Main goal of this seminar is to improve sailing skills for all those who are familiar with basic sailing and racing.
It is a 4 day course.
First day themes: Trimming the sails. During morning class we go through all the sail on the boat and lear how to trim each sail. On the water later we put marks and short race course for practice.
Second day themes: Manouvres and crew organization. During morning teory class we look at diferent manouvres during sailing and in the practical part on the water we practice those specific manouvres.
Third day themes: Strategy and tactics in racing. In teoretical part we will learn how to position during prestart and start. On the water we will go through following topics; strategy during upwind sailing, tactics during upwind sailing, strategy and tactics during downwind saling and we will speak about racing rules of sailing
Fourth day themes; Race simulation. During morning teory class we speak about race course and how to sail the race, how to start, sail upwind, downwind. We will learn basic tactical and strategical tools. Afternoon, we sail few short races.
