Beneteau Rally Croatia 2013

This is the ninth year that ULTRA SAILING organizes Beneteau yacht rally.
Application number is limited to 15 Beneteau sailing boats, mostly owner’s boats and Beneteau sailing boats which can be chartered.

Unfortunatelly this year we were not so happy with rain and strong wind which followed us during these 3 days. We were forced to change and reduce our route, so instead of Trogir – Vis – Palmižana, we sailed on shorter route Trogir – Masilinica – Palmižana – Split

The bad weather forecast influenced our Rally and 2 crews cancelled their application , so we had 13 Beneteau sailing boats  ready for the race and Cyclades 50.5 on which  we  accomodated our Ultra sailing crew.
The first evening the crews arrived  on Šolta, in Maslinica. We had dinner in one of the most popular castles „Martinis Marchi“ . We realized that the strong wind and cold rain could not destroy the wonderful evening.

The second evening we had dinner inMeneghello restaurant  in Palmižana.
Last day we sailed from Palmižana to Split. We couldn’t avoid the  rainstorm  which stopped of course when all boats were safely moored in Marina.

All participants  received the book „Sailing skills“, written by Emil Tomašević and books issued by  „More“ magazine.
The winner was the crew on Beneteau Oceanis 41 „Duboka 2“, with skipper B. Brusselaers.
The second place was shared by the crew on Beneteau First 36.7 „Desire“ – skiper Saša Lakić and the crew on Cyclades 43.4 „Zaglav“ with skipper Mrs. Reede Ineke
