European Yacht Of The Year 2023 – First 36

Great news from boot Düsseldorf 2023, the Beneteau First 36 received the most famous and important award, „European Yacht Of The Year“ in performance-cruiser class from the popular and prestigious German „Yacht Magazine“.

We are proud of this announcement, since we were among the first customers in 2022 and excitedly followed the development of this special sailboat by the Seascape-Slovenia and Beneteau team.

When we did the first test’s on this little racer we knew it is an exceptional sailboat for those who are looking for some good performances under the sails in Croatia

Beneteau First 36 in Croatia

Our First 36 „Ultra First“ joined our charter fleet in 2022 and it was used mostly for our sailing school purposes and we’ve sailed some local regattas.

The season 2023 brings different schedule and the First 36 “Ultra First” will be available as a bareboat charter and can be booked from our charter base in ACI Marina Split. You can now experience the thrill of high-performance sailing – not only on the race course, but also on sailing vacation in Croatia.

The Beneteau First 36 has a mission to bridge the gap between high-tech development in the world of racing and mainstream racer-cruisers. To be specific, even the standard version of First 36 will fully plane in a moderate wind. This 11 metres long and 3.8 metres wide yacht puts the focus back into sailing, ideal for sailors who want to enjoy long summer cruising under the sails.

This racer-cruiser is light, with a hull designed by sailors for sailors, it brings performance and takes off in light winds, but also brings the guests the cruising experience thanks to its comfortable layout and equipment.

The First 36 features a traditional three-cabin layout, suitable for up to 6 guests. To maximize living space in the saloon, the bathroom footprint is minimized, using an innovative foldable sink. The extra space makes room for a navigation table/onboard office. Another innovation standing out in the saloon is the standalone fridge island. A removable cutting board can significantly extend the working surface of the standard L-shape galley, this feature makes the First 36’s galley the largest in its class.
