We have been loyal to the Biograd Boat Show since its beginnings and enjoy every time participation at this recognized boat show.

Why is this boat show important to us?

It takes place at the best time of the year, at the end of the season when the previous nautical year is already being summed up and the next one is planned. This is the best time to sell used boats and buy the new ones.

Ultra Sailing’s Beneteau sailboats at BBS 2022

In addition to all that, the fair is held in our natural environment and the beautiful Marina Kornati in Biograd, which certainly makes it easier for us to transfer to bring our sailboats from their home marinas and present them.

New boat models, innovations, boat equipment and used boats can be viewed at the fair. For the third time in a row, a separate closed B2B fair reserved for the yacht-charter industry and the exchange of data between charter fleets and agents was organized.

B2B fair

Ultra Sailing had a dense schedule of agents in its program this year, mainly from Germany, France and Great Britain. Great interest has been shown in the new vessels arriving in our fleet as well as in the special program that we have been developing for years on special owner models of luxury yachts with crew. B2B fair was held for 2 full days, unlike the other part of the Biograd Boat Show, which was open for 5 days. We are satisfied with the organization and hereby thank the key person Nataša Jakovljev, who knows charter agency needs and improves this event every year.

Which Beneteau sailboats we have exhibited at the fair?

Beneteau Oceanis 34.1  “Rookie”

New Beneteau model Oceanis 34.1 “Rookie”

Ultra, as a representative of Beneteau sailboats, with its stand right at the entrance to the fair, attracted attention with its exhibited sailboats. This year we would like to emphasize the new model, transported directly from the Beneteau shipyard to the fair in Biograd – the new Oceanis 34.1. This model attracted a lot of people and was in the center of attention, especially private buyers from Croatia, Slovenia and Austria, because it is tailored to the Adriatic. It is also interesting for rent in yacht charter, as we have already seen with the older model, Oceanis 35.1, which was chosen mainly by families and couples, and this is the most often neglected group of sailors in the large offer of vessels with a large number of cabins.

COCKPIT AND DECK Oceanis 34.1 is a beautiful combination of classic and modern, the cockpit has been studied to the last detail in order to have enough space to relax without getting in the way of maneuvering and sailing.

INTERIOR Modern, minimalistic interior decor is a feature of the new Beneteau sailboats. Oceanis 34.1 was ordered in a variant with 3 cabins and 1 toilet.

Where can the Oceanis 34.1 be rented and tested?

This sailboat is in the Ultra sailing fleet in ACI Marina Split. It can be rented without a skipper. Its full rental price ranges from €1,520-€3,800 for a week. Please note that the classic discount for early booking of this model is 5% and for more weeks a larger discount can be obtained. “Rookie” is the name of the Oceanis 34.1 which will be in the Ultra Sailing fleet and will be equipped according to the high standards we have (wi-fi included in the price, solar panels as standard, etc.)

The exhibited model opened its doors at the fair in Biograd with its 3 cabins, 1 toilet and a spacious cockpit. In the 2023 season, Ultra sailing will have 6 Oceanis 40.1 for rent from Dubrovnik, Split and Pomer (Pula) bases.

Beneteau First 36 „Ultra First“

Beneteau First 36 “Ultra First”

Ultra sailing always has special sailboats in its charter fleet – this year the Beneteau First 36 Cruiser-racer stood out. We mostly used it in sailing school courses, and the fair in Biograd was an excellent opportunity to show a model whose predecessors always had excellent reviews in the past.

First 36 is the first mainstream racer/cruiser where onboard comfort doesn’t affect the experience of high performance sailing.

Which catamarans did we exhibit at the fair?

Catamaran Elba 45 „Princess Valeria“

The beautiful Elba 45 was exhibited at this fair too. We have made several shots and films showing the spaciousness and modern look of this fantastic catamaran. It is intended for yacht charter without a skipper, and its weekly rental price ranges from €4,900 to €11,800 in the heart of the season. This catamaran has 4 double cabins and a small skipper’s cabin in the bow. It is registered for 10 people and is fully equipped.

The price for the purchase of this new model (usually it takes more than 16 months for delivery) can be found on the official website of Ultra d.o.o. which is the representative of the Fountaine Pajot catamarans in Croatia.
