Ethnographic museum in Split is an excellent choice for a visit if you want to escape briefly to past times. Artefacts and folk costumes have been collected ever since 1913, thanks to the great admirer and patron of arts from that period, Mr. Kamilo Tomčić. Since then, the museum has had a few relocations, though the one most remembered one was in the main city square „Pjaca“.
In 2004., permanent exhibit was transferred to a new, beautiful space inside the Diocletian’s Palace, just behind the Vestibul.
Entry fee is 15 kuna per person (for adults).
Museum’s address is: Iza Vestibula 4, 21000 Split
