Yacht review – Beneteau Oceanis 41.1

New Beneteau model Oceanis 41.1 was running a bit late from the shipyard this year so it was put in charter from July.

3 cabin models, up to 42 feet were always very popular amongst charterers who come to Croatia.

We named our boat „Porteruša“, after a bay on the south side of Šćedro island. Chartes have it as Čarnjeni bay. Beautiful for taking a swim, it also provides a shelter from bura (wind) if you are caught in it on your way from Korčula to Hvar.

Oceanis 41.1 is available for yacht charter in Croatia from our Trogir charter base, which is only 10 km away from Split airport.

We’re sailing a 40. New to it. After we tie up and plug in we noticed that there was a pump expelling water for at least 15 monutes after we shut motor off. What was that? Was it still cooling the engine?
