The new model Beneteau Oceanis 37.1 from the popular French shipyard made its debut at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival and it marks the completion of the Oceanis range’s seventh generation. Designed by Marc Lombard and the Nauta Design Studio, it faces the challenging task of replacing the popular Oceanis 38.1, which has been in the market and one of the top-seller models for impressive nine years.

Ultra Sailing currently owns 6 of the Beneteau Oceanis 38.1 models in our fleet spread over in Pula, Split and Dubrovnik and we’re continuing with expanding our fleet with the newest model of Beneteau Oceanis 37.1, which, as seen at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September is an impressive successor.

Our new Beneteau Oceanis 37.1 will be available for charter from Split

Our new Oceanis 37.1 is named „Breeze“ and will be located in our biggest charter base in ACI Marina Split.

Exterior Design

Refreshing a model is always a demanding task, and the latest Oceanis 37.1 doesn’t show any groundbreaking change, but it does incorporate the essential features of the new Oceanis generation.

The deck is open and easily maneuverable, with an absence of back stays – a layout used successfully on the Oceanis 30.1 and Oceanis 34.1. The generous double spreaders on the Oceanis 37.1 promise excellent performance. In the standard version with a self-tacking jib, the focus is on simplifying the sailing experience. For those who prefer more spirited sailing, the First Line version offers a square-top mainsail and a furling genoa, providing an additional 22% sail area.

To ensure easy handling with a smaller crew, all the rigging is directed to the two aft winches, with only the halyards grouped around the coach roof. You’ll find all the instruments, including a 7-inch plotter, conveniently located on the starboard helm console.

Spacios & wide cockpit – New Oceanis 37.1

The cockpit is 3 metre long and features a central table as well as a retractable transom platform designed for swimming. Focusing on both sustainability and aesthetics, the Oceanis 37.1 showcases the use of Iroko, an eco-conscious alternative to traditional teak, for its cockpit decking. This innovative decking was crafted using a novel assembly process known as Iro-DECK, a technique perfected by Beneteau. Each plywood strip in the decking consists of multiple laminated layers, ensuring uniform coloration, exceptional sustainability, and eliminating the common issue of cracks often associated with solid wood decks.

Interior Design

Beneteau takes pride in providing a spacious saloon on this 37-foot yacht, offering a layout that’s comparable to a 40-foot yacht. Inside, you’ll find a dining area with a large table that accommodates six people, situated across from a galley kitchen. The Oceanis 37.1 is available in configurations with two or three cabins.

Our „Breeze“ will be available in 3 cabins and 2 heads layout. This layout boasts impressive space, featuring a comfortable sofa and a generous dining table capable of seating for six persons. This arrangement cleverly faces the galley, ensuring the crew can attend to their tasks without disturbing those dining.

In the two-bathroom version, the bed is positioned along the starboard hull. The accommodations in the aft section are equally roomy. In the standard configuration, there’s a king-size double bed and a substantial sail locker located aft of the bathroom, accessible from both the interior and exterior. Even in the three-cabin version, the sleeping arrangements are well-proportioned and comfortable.
