The new flagship in our charter fleet is a brand new Fountaine Pajot catamaran Aura 51 named “Cosmos”. It is a new catamaran model from Fountaine Pajot shipyard, which replaces the previous catamaran model Saba 50.
We used to have the catamaran Saba 50 in our charter fleet in the time from 2015 until 2020 when it was sold. It was an excellent catamaran which provided a lot of unforgettable moments to our charter clients from around the world.
This new model was exhibited as a premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2022 and as our colleagues from Fountaine Pajot sales department, who was there, said it was a big success and all clients who visited the boat was very satisfied what they saw.
The same as our previous Saba 50, the new Aura 51 “Cosmos” will be available only as skippered charter, so you can charter it only with our professional skipper and if needed you can also book a hostess additionally and enjoy crewed charter in Croatia.
Pure comfort interior
Make yourself comfortable is exactly what the new Aura 51 stands for. It is available in 4 different layouts. Each cabin has its own bathroom area, including the 6-cabin version – a first on the catamaran market for a 51-foot model, as is the double-Maestro version, another yard exclusive. The full-Maestro version offers a huge owner’s cabin in the entire port hull.
The 6-cabin layout comprising three doubles with en-suite bathrooms on each side would be the charter version of the new Fountaine Pajot model, however we decided to go for the maestro layout.
The maestro layout is suitable for up to 10 guests in 5 cabin layout with one Master cabin, there is additional two separated crew cabins in the bow for the skipper or hostess if needed. Each cabin has been designed to offer at least two sources of natural light, deck hatches and large hull windows. Every cabin also offers a window-facing bed. The hatches and portlights ensure there is always air circulation available, although our Aura 51 “Cosmos” will be equipped with Webasto heating system and air condition in saloon & cabins.
As additional comfort our Aura 51 “Cosmos” will also be equipped with carpet floor in both hulls & cabins, just not in saloon, since we wanted to avoid the damage and cleaning of the carpet in the saloon area while cooking or similar.
Saloon & Galley
Fountaine Pajot has designed a great innovation for this 51-foot cruising catamaran, there is a complete opening option between the saloon and the cockpit, which makes the communication between the galley and the large cockpit more easier. This open kitchen concept creates one large social zone like and inside/outside combination of living space.
The saloon itself offers plenty of space and filled with natural light due to big windows and large skylights. Which appears very bright in every corner of the saloon. The saloon extends on the starboard side and features an L-shaped sofa seat facing an angled corner couch forward with a coffee table in the middle.
Deck and exterior
Aura 51 offers three different social areas outside, flybridge, foredeck-bow and cockpit. It offers a seamless movement between all these areas and deck.
The flybridge offers a comfortable lounging area with a wide C-shaped bench seat and a sunbathing area. Around the coachroof is a totally flush-decked solar panels capable of 2000 Watts of renewable energy.
Another lounge area is on the foredeck, there also a C-shaped seating bench with a wooden cover on the chain locker, which serves as a small table not to forget the two large trampolines.
The cockpit is perfectly designed for a flawless movement and comfort. There is a large dining table capable of seating 8 to 10 guests with an L-shaped sofa and a bench seat. Further in the cockpit you have a raised sunbed and a sofa on the transom, next to it is a gas grill for easy food preparation.
With these options the whole aft cockpit and the ultra-wide opening door in the saloon becomes one large chilling and dining area. The raised helm station with sailing control area allows the guests to have their privacy while the skipper is sailing the catamaran.

The integrated hydraulic multifunctional swimming platform which carry up to 200kg and it serves perfect fit for a tender or a „private beach area“ for swimming and diving at anchor.
Aura 51 – Luxury sailing in Croatia
We can’t wait to see the new Aura 51 in our charter base in Marina Baotic, nearby the beautiful town of Trogir. We expect it to be ready for charter by the end of May. The booking requests for the new Aura 51 looks great, there are still few weeks available in August and September. The weekly prices for charter go from 8.900€ up to 20.900€ additionally you need to count of extra cost 1.750€ for the skipper.
The new Aura 51 „Cosmos“ will undeniably provide you a perfect cruising in Croatia, comfortable staying and pleasant life on bord in general.
